- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★We were surprised to find such a nice beach on our visit to the southwest corner of Michigan. Parking is only $12 (cheap by New England standards), and facilities include bathrooms, a snack bar, and a playground. The sand is a bit less fine than beaches we're used to, but still perfectly soft and easy to walk on. The water is impressively clear and on a sunny August day was comfortably warm enough for swimming and lounging. With plenty of food and supply options in the adjacent town (a bit out of walking distance perhaps), this would be an easy place to spend a day.By Dan Carp, March 12, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I stopped here while traveling on a work trip to stretch my legs and I enjoyed every second of it. The scenery here is beautiful and even more so, especially during sunset.
